DIVERSIFIED INPUTS FOR FOUNDRIE SUPPLIES

Urussanga Minérios is dedicated to developing a diversified portfolio of inputs for different applications in the foundry process. Coke CF12 is an essential fuel in the iron melting process in cubilot furnaces, offering resistance and efficiency. Its main advantages include high carbon content, resulting in efficient and controlled combustion, excellent mechanical resistance, reducing breakages and optimizing furnace performance, and reduced coke consumption, providing savings and greater energy efficiency.

Cardiff ACV&V is a special coal powder used in green sand systems, responsible for guaranteeing a superior finish to castings. Its differentials include a high vitreous carbon content, providing better performance in reducing surface defects, a high volatile content, reducing sand inclusions and improving part quality, and less need to add coal powder to the moulding system, optimizing costs and processes.

UM-HP Bentonite completes the portfolio of inputs, making the molding process more efficient. Produced from selected raw materials, this imported bentonite has high thermal stability, essential for highly demanding pouring processes, resistance to high temperatures, ensuring greater efficiency and lower consumption, and reduced waste, allowing the need to add the input to the process to be reduced by up to 50%.
