The 13th Metalurgia – International Technology Fair and Congress for Foundry, Steel, Forging, Aluminum and Services, continues this Friday (10), from 1pm to 8pm, in Joinville-SC, with national and international exhibitors. As well as Brazilian companies, nine other countries are among the 240 exhibitors – Germany, Belarus, China, Spain, USA, France, India, Italy and Thailand. With a qualified audience and business opportunities, the third day of the fair maintained a positive atmosphere among the exhibitors, including the international ones.
Mauro Evaristo, commercial manager at Unic Brasil, said that the company, together with Turkish manufacturer LK Machinery, had brought plastic and zamak injection machines to the fair, as well as the innovation of injecting the structural base of cars in aluminum, a technology already used by global automakers such as Tesla, BYD and Xpeng. “The south of Brazil has a very strong industrial culture and customers understand that this technology is a solution for manufacturing the new electric cars, which gives us a post-show business perspective,” he said.
Spain’s Jung Hormesa brought technological innovations in industrial induction furnaces to the fair. “The fair enabled us to meet and network with the customers we serve in different regions of Brazil,” said commercial director Willy Alisetti.
Tolsa, another Spanish company, brought its top quality bentonites to Metalurgia, which guarantee the homogeneity and thermal stability required for complex castings. “Several foundries in Brazil already use our products. The fair is strategic for receiving customers and expanding business,” said Julio Manzanares, industrial business manager.
Shchurok Aliaksandr, director of Baztube, says that the Belarusian company manufactures profiled tubes mainly for the mechanical engineering market and the oil industry. “Our initial objective at Metalurgia was to analyze the market. We received a qualified audience at the stand, including potential distributors for the Brazilian market. The fair has been very positive,” he said.
Organized by Messe Brasil, Metalurgia is supported by FIESC (Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina), ABIMAQ (Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association) and ABINFER (Brazilian Tooling Industry Association).
