Industry 4.0 Technology in Solutions for Melting and Casting of Metals by Induction are among Inductotherm’s launches in Metallurgy

Stage of innovations, Metallurgy will have the participation of Inductotherm with the launch of equipment for melting and pouring of metals by induction equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Recognized worldwide for its excellence in induction heating systems, the company brings to the event solutions that combine automation, predictive control and integration with Industry 4.0, meeting the current and future demands of the most demanding foundries.

Inductotherm’s presence at Metalurgia 2025 will be marked by innovations that directly contribute to increased productivity, quality control, safety and energy efficiency. With decades of global experience and strong operations in Brazil, the group leads the development of systems capable of offering absolute control over each stage of the metal melting and pouring process.

The launch of the Multi-Pour™ automated pouring system, the iNOC™ inoculation controllers and the Visinoc™ advanced monitoring system, have been designed to provide precision, safety and efficiency in the casting iron pouring and inoculation processes. These technologies are designed to solve classic foundry challenges such as inaccurate leaks, thermal losses, inconsistent inoculation, and operational risk, ensuring not only higher productivity but also a leap in quality in the castings produced.

DIFFERENTIALS OF THE NEW MELTING TECHNOLOGY

The Multi-Pour™, a new automated pouring system with P3 (Predictive Pour Performance) intelligent control, uses multiple adjustable vision cameras and independent stopper rod systems to ensure accurate, controlled and efficient pouring. The main innovation of Multi-Pour™ lies in the ability to operate in double indexing molds or separate molds, adapting to the needs of different production lines. The control by cameras and intelligent sensors allows the metal to be released at the ideal time, under the slag, which results in higher quality of the poured metal, less thermal loss and less incidence of tailings.

In addition, the system has an optimized refractory lining, pneumatic cover for easy loading and control PLC, making the entire operation safer, more intuitive and efficient. The operator also has simplified diagnosis and real-time images, elements that place Multi-Pour™ among the most advanced pouring systems on the market.

Another outstanding innovation is the iNOC™ precision inoculation system, developed to act directly on the leak stream. Its function is to promote a precise and uniform distribution of inoculant granules, raising the quality of the casting and significantly reducing operating costs. By acting precisely at the right point in the process, iNOC™ ensures consistent results, optimizing the use of materials and improving the final microstructure of castings.

Complementing iNOC™, Visinoc™ technology brings to market a robust real-time monitoring and verification system, capable of being integrated into new or existing systems. With live data and images of the inoculation, Visinoc™ allows operators to track each leak accurately, recording valuable information for analysis, traceability and continuous improvement of processes.

Visinoc™’s integration into Industry 4.0 offers a number of competitive advantages, such as smart alarms, trend history, automatic diagnostics, and decisions based on reliable data, in addition to meeting the most stringent compliance and traceability standards in the global market.
