The differential of hybrid bentonites lies in their advanced formulation, which combines bentonites from different regions of the world, providing greater efficiency in molding processes, greater thermal resistance and stability. In addition, these new solutions contribute directly to reducing waste and waste generation, essential factors for the modern foundry, which continually seeks to increase productivity while meeting environmental requirements.
SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS
The DEL LAGO U line was developed to offer excellent thermal and mechanical resistance, maintaining the integrity of the mold even under high temperatures and prolonged cycles. BRASGEL ULTRA, on the other hand, combines high bonding power with excellent demolding at the check-out, contributing to more stable molds, with better compaction and part finish.
ESCORGEL is Buntech’s solution for slag control, formulated on the basis of pearlite with controlled granulometry and excellent agglomeration capacity. Its application promotes the formation of a stable layer on the metal bath, facilitating the collection of slag and contributing to the cleaning of the metal. With its low density and high efficiency in absorbing impurities, ESCORGEL reduces metal losses, improves casting quality and optimizes process performance, with easy handling and good fluidity during loading.
RESINAS has been on the market for over 20 years with resins for the Cold Box process, Cold Set, Furanic Resins and the entire range of catalysts, and we also have our Strike Off Box – for mold cleaning.
URETHANIC PHENOLIC COLDBOX – COLDBOX is recommended for the casting of ferrous and non-ferrous parts, serial or unitary. It is used in the production of cores and molds, in manual or automated processes, for immediate use or storage. It offers extremely fast curing, ideal for series production with high productivity. It guarantees excellent resistance, reliability and allows the use of regenerated, mechanically or thermally treated sands, with the possibility of reuse.
COLDSET – URETHANIC PHENOLIC COLD CURE is suitable for casting serial or unit parts in steel, both ferrous and non-ferrous. Used in the production of cores and molds, in manual or automated processes. They must be combined with Cold Set catalysts suited to the curing requirements. It is possible to obtain fully cured molds in less than 90 seconds, with speed control adjustable according to the quality and quantity of the catalyst.
FURANIC RESINS Suitable for manual or semi-automated foundries in the non-serial production of ferrous and non-ferrous steel parts. They use a sulphonic acid catalyst, with a curing time that can be adjusted according to requirements.
MOLD CLEANING – STRIKE OFF BOX Designed to remove layers of resin from core boxes, metal tools, mixers, chutes and continuous mixer screws.
