At Metalurgia 2025, Fundição Omil presents all its structure and experience in the supply of technical castings in ferrous parts, with integrated machining and a development process that goes from digital simulation to the delivery of the ready-to-use product. The parts produced by Omil, with integrated machining, meet applications that require dimensional accuracy, high performance and complete traceability. Manufactured in gray iron, nodular iron or white iron (iron with high chromium content), these parts reach different industrial sectors, such as agriculture, textiles, compressors, valves, reducers, boilers, pumps, water and sanitation. The entire process, from conception to final delivery, is carried out in-house, ensuring full control of production and reduced lead times.
PARTS DEVELOPMENT STAGES
Development begins in the engineering sector, with the use of the Altair Inspire Cast software, which allows simulating the filling and solidification of metal, ensuring the accuracy of the project from the initial phase. In production, Omil has machining in the Cold Box and Pep-Set processes, automatic molding in the Euromac line and manual molding in the Pep-Set process, offering flexibility to serve both pilot batches and large batches with serial production. Melting is carried out in state-of-the-art induction furnaces, ensuring thermal stability and reproducibility. The parts go through stages of blasting, deburring, industrial painting and CNC machining, with rigorous inspections in all phases, ending with the availability of the assembly sector, delivering the customer the complete assembled solution, ready for application.
The company’s own machining structure, equipped with machining centers and CNC lathes, ensures speed, precision and reduction of logistics costs, adding value to the final product. The entire quality management system follows ISO 9001 certification, ensuring standardization, traceability, and reliability in processes.
