The different granulometries and resistance levels of the foundry sands supplied by Jundu can be checked by visitors at the stand of the company at the Metalurgia expo. The line of products includes Industrial Quartz Sands (Base Sands) and Resin Sands to Shell Molding Foundry Process.
The foundry sands supplied by Jundu are extracted from the beds of the company, abundant and with ores of excellent quality. They are sold in bulk or packaged, with different options of granulometries and resistance levels that meet the specifications of the processes used in the manufacture of sand cores and molds.
To assure the quality and technical requirements specified by the market, Jundu has a strict quality control, which starts in the mine prospection. Using a specialized software, it is capable of defining the prospection criteria with control and optimized to all options of foundry sands.
Jundu is also distinguished in the provision of technical services by a team of experienced professionals and laboratories equipped with all resources. The company also counts on a modern laboratory to test the application of its foundry sands, being the only one in the national scenario among all sand foundries capable of assuring an exclusive result to customers.
Environmental care in the production of foundry sands
The concerns and actions of Jundu are not restricted to the productive cycle, stretching beyond legal requirements. The entire production of the foundry sands is surrounded by environmental care. The waters used in the productive process are treated, stored, and almost completely reused in the productive process and the extraction areas are carefully rearranged and reforested with native species.
